OOC

backtagging Yes!
threadjacking Only with OOC discussion first.
multiple threads Hell yeah.
fourthwalling Maybe. I'll explain below.
offensive subjects Domestic violence, sexual abuse, drug use.
timezone USA EST.
tagging speed Depends on the length and content of threads. Quicker things, or something I'm hyper-focused on, I can boomerang, but most things I try to hit once a day unless I need a break.

IC

flirting Yes, just know she'll be more receptive to men.
hugging Yes. She'll likely reciprocate if it's someone she knows.
kissing Yes. Again, more receptive to men.
romance F/M. F/F being unrequited on Sam's side is doable, though.
sex Yes. F/M preference but she'll occasionally dabble.
fighting Yes, but I'm not the best at writing action scenes.
mindreading With OOC discussion and agreement first.
injuries With OOC discussion and agreement first.
death Would rather not, unless there's a really good plot to be had.

SHIPS

SHIPS YOU LOVE ✔✔✔ Generally Good Dudes, she thinks her type is big beefy men, but in truth she loves a cute little nerdy man.
SHIPS YOU'RE UNSURE ABOUT / Anything resembling her past abusive relationships, anything involving other humanoid species.
SHIPS YOU HATE ✘✘✘ Anything underage, anything involving non-humanoid characters.

Being unsure about a ship doesn't mean I don't want to try it! It's more of a thing that I'd want to test-drive so to speak, and if it's something that clicks we can explore it further. I just like to make sure I avoid putting Sam in situations that will make it too difficult for me to write her. She's super tricky with certain supernatural/magical things - but it's getting better!

OPT-OUT

Given Sam's history of abusive relationships and drug use, these topics can come up from time to time. I'm more than happy to avoid this, either through simply not having it come up in threads, or through AUing her into something less triggering.
I'm also happy to AU her without the wrestling background if that's something you'd like to avoid - I know it's something that's not for everyone and her background isn't changed in any way that makes it impossible for me to write her if she never got into wrestling.

PREFERENCES

WRITING STYLE I'll default to matching my partner, so brackets usually. But I do a air amount of mobile tagging so prose tends to be easier, especially with longer-form stuff. Brackets are still doable though, because I'm a weirdo who has HTML saved to my keyboard's clipboard on my phone.
CROSSCANON Sam isn't tied to any specific canon, but she fits best in most modern, non-magical settings. It's a little easier for me to throw me into something magical or futuristic if I'm familiar with it. If it's a canon I know, chances are I already have AU ideas for her based in that setting even if they're not posted here.
CROSS-MEDIUM I'm very choosy when it comes to cross-medium interactions, with a heavy preference for 3D and more "realistic" looking art styles. It's partly a familiarity thing, most animation in this style tends to come from video games, and I'm into gaming. Strange faces are a squick for me, I think it's a combination of being affected heavily by uncanny valley and an aversion to feels that seems like body horror to me (even if it's not). This can also include practical effects and prosthetics used in live-action media. Lastly, some 2D animated characters in particular can look extremely child-like to me, and I have no interest in interactions with such characters in any context.
CR PREFERENCES I'm almost always okay with friendly assumed CR. Writing introductions over and over can get a little repetitive, so I don't mind skipping past that and having our characters be pals/acquaintances. I prefer gen and shippy CR - I'm not really looking for any antagonistic relationships unless there's a clear and agreed-upon plan for resolution. A good enemies to lovers plot? Hell yeah. Characters arguing for no reason? Not for me.
FOURTH-WALLING I said I'd explain, so here we go! I'm totally down for having people recognize Sam as a professional wrestler. She wasn't hugely famous in the United States, but she would've been known in certain pockets of the country, and on the internet. Plus, she had moderate success in Japan and Mexico. Plenty of her matches would definitely be up on YouTube and other similar sites. Feel free to run it by me if you're not sure!
